Welforward

Welforward is a community project, to decide how we would like Welford on Avon to develop in the next 10-15 years, and to produce a Neighbourhood Plan to help achieve this vision.

The Welforward committee were appointed by the Welford-on-Avon Parish Council to operate as an independent steering group, on behalf of Welford residents. Our objectives are to:

Consult with the local community to identify their needs and expectations, in the realm of Planning and Development.
Produce a Neighbourhood Plan to compliment:
1. The community's, specific local needs.
2. The Core strategy ( The Stratford District Council Local Plan ).
3. The National Planning Policy Framework ( NPPF ).
Ensure all foreseeable developments in the next 15 years are addressed by the plan

Once adopted, our Neighbourhood Plan will have to be taken into consideration for any planning application made in the village.
